Little Girl

She wasn’t sure but maybe she was hurting

You left her alone and broken

You made her have to do something

Anything to get your attention

She screamed

She cried

She destroyed things

But you never seemed to pay her no mind

You just kept repeating the same old lies

Till one day she turned in

Started to mend that which needed to be mend

She found the little girl who just needed a friend

Gave her a hug and told her I’ll never leave you again

And that little girl dried her eyes

She cried the last tears she was gonna cry

She got tough and without a doubt

This little girl made it out
