Why, We Never Acknowledge the Sky?

We all have busy lives

This is true

But the time to look up and breathe

Could only take a minute

Or two

I wonder why

We just ignore the sky

I mean if you were as beautiful

And mysterious as the moon

And sun

Wouldn’t you want the eyes

Of everyone

Stop today and look up

And breathe

Take in the sight

Just watch and you’ll see

All the colors the sky can truly be

I mean blue to red to purple

Sometimes green

The marvelous wonder

The sky does seem

But yet everyday we sit

On our phone

Ignoring what’s above us

The sky must feel so alone
