Money controls power
Power controls man
The less you have the more in the dark
You’re not educated
You’re easier to brainwash
Close your eyes
And pray
To the man in the sky
To come save you one day
These are the ones
That they call prey
The only hope I have is that
I’ll make it to tomorrow
From yesterday
Forget the things the news lady said
You should take it all with a grain of salt
We’re all walking in the dark
The only difference
Is a select few bought a flashlight
Time to understand
That in order to get out
You must fight
Or become comfortable in the black
We all want to see
But if you asked me
The world will never be fair
So we all start off somewhere
My goal is to be far from here
In my dreams I see a new life
Saving someone is depending on if they know
What’s the price
You don’t owe a thing to this life
Live it best you can
But try to understand the ways of man
Greed
Envy
Lust
Gluttony
Sloth
Wrath
And Pride
Humans try their best to hide
But these are the things we all have deep inside
So why not fight those first
Maybe our lives would be
Better on earth
