Why do men lie?

I mean does it make you feel big?

Do you feel a rush?

Like getting away with a crime

Does it boost your pride?

I mean really why?

Don’t you know your lie

Can only go so far

Sooner or later

The truth will come out

Filling everyone around you

With doubts

Like who do you expect

To believe you now

You hurt those around you

With the lies you spew
